The Best Video Marketing Services

It’s undeniable that video is one of the most powerful mediums out there, but of all the video marketing services (meant to make our tactics easier) …which ones are best?

When I first brought my business online in November of 2008, I started with a simple video marketing plan that really consisted of little more than uploading my content to YouTube. It wasn’t until I was introduced to some amazing video marketing services that I really saw the fruits of my labor, and more importantly – my opt-in list growing strictly from videos.

Before You Invest in Video Marketing Services Know This…

First, I think it’s important is what are you looking for in video marketing services? What are you hoping to achieve by using video in your business? Are you hoping to create brand awareness? Grow an email newsletter list (*hint, this should always be your goal!)? Sell more of your product? Increase your SEO (Search engine optimization). There has to be a clear and definitive WHY for the action you are taking. Otherwise it’s fruitless.

Secondly, realize that you’re probably not going to see a lot of measurable success within your first few videos. Before I started using video marketing services paired with some consistent uploads… I was only generating 1-2 fresh leads per day. Now? I’ll be bummed if I’m not creating at least a few DOZEN per day.

So What Are The Best Video Marketing Services?

For as many great video marketing services available, that are enough that downright suck. I’ve pretty much used or tried them all, so let me share with you my favorite: (If you’re new to video, you may want to check out these Video Marketing Tips)

1. Tube Blaster Pro (YouTube only)

TBP has been my video marketing services mainstay for the past two years. It’s a very affordable program at around $60 (onetime) and allows you to automatically send friend requests and personal messages. This will increase the amount of friends you can share your YouTube Videos, increase your Channel’s views (which helps with getting more video views and participation in YouTube’s search algorithm).

2. Tube Tool Box (YouTube only)

Tube Tool Box is Tube Blast Pro on speed. And crack. And steroids. While it’s a bit more expensive (either $9.95 a month, $79.95 a year, or $149.95 onetime). Not only does it allow you to send friend requests on youTube, but also allows you to auto-comment on user accounts, other’s videos, and share videos with a message to MULTIPLE users at once. It will auto-gather user’s friends, videos, subscriptions, comments, and synch all of your lists together. A lot less buggy, I’ve just tried this for the first time. And I love it!

3. Traffic Geyser

Traffic Geyser has been the leading video syndication platform for the past few years. It allows you to upload one video, and share it among 20+ video sharing sites within minutes. Newer features also allow you to submit articles via about 30+ directories, as well as use their internal transcription services. (Imagine creating a video, having someone transcribe it into an article – BAM two pieces of content in one!) …There is really only one major drawback to TG. It costs a whopping $100 a month. I used it for a very long time until I heard about Pixel Pipe (more below).

Traffic Geyser also has a fantastic online affiliate marketing program. So go check it out!

4. Tube Mogul

A Video Marketing Services commentary is nothing without Tube Mogul. Although my rating for it is a measly 3 out of 5 stars, it deserves some recognition. It allows you to do mostly what Traffic Geyser does, but at no cost. You heard me. Zip. The caveat? It’s for non-commercial use online. So, if you’re in Internet Marketing, MLM, Home Based Business, or selling any sort of product or service… don’t even waste your time. You’ll be banned before you can say “bobs your uncle!”

5. Pixel Pipe

Pixel Pipe is one of my favorite new programs. It’s absolutely free and allows me to do EVERYTHING (everything that’s important anyhow) that TG does, but absolutely free. And they don’t care if if you use it for commercial (business) use. Boomski!

  • Hey Rachel!

Thanks for this review…I also used Traffic Geyser for a very long time and now I’m going to be using Pixel Pipe thanks to you :)

Btw another to add would be…

It allows you to upload images, choose music, and it makes one really badass video with a bunch of really cool effects…and once the video is done you can mix it as many times as you want and walla! you’ll have different versions of the same video..

Its free for a 30second video and if you want more you have to upgrade to a paid account but it is great!

    Talk soon!
    Nice blog btw..

  • Thanks for sharing this post Rachel. I also agree that Tube Toolbox and PixelPipe are two great video marketing services. I’ve never tried Tube Blaster Pro, but after this comparison, I think I’ll stick with Tube Toolbox. I’ve been banned from TubeMogul because I was “commercial”. This is a great list for anything thinking about making videos. :)

  • You will love it! Simple and easy.

  • I love animoto! I’ll have to write a blog post about using it! SO very very very cool!

    Rachel,

Great advice on video marketing software. What’s your opinion on video servers or platforms or providers? Do you recommend YouTube primarily or is there another site/service you prefer to host or make your videos with?

  • Hans, I’ll host and spin my videos to all the video sharing sites on PixelPipe!

  • Jenn K May says:

Great content rachel. I am am new to vid marketing but I will be sure to check some of these things out.BTW, I am using movie maker bt having some technical difficulties with it i.e. the sound and picture are not synchronised fully. Any suggestions where I might be able to get help with this. It’s a real bummer and really slowing me down.

  • Hi Rachel,

thanks for putting this together. I went to Pixelpipe right away, opened an account and connected my services. Ready to go.

    Take care

    Oliver

  • Awesome tip Rachel, thanks! I have been using TG and I love it, but it’s a bit more expensive than PixelPipe! Before Tube Mogul stopped their free services for commercial vids I was using them, and liked it. I just feel that if I’m going to pay for something I want the best, Traffic Guyser is it. There are lots of features that some people will never use so it may not be the best for everyone, but it is for me! You can be sure I will check out PixelPipe though, Thanks again!

  • Hi Rachel,
Looks like PixelPipe is only for video. Is that correct.
I like TG cause you can post articles, but ya the price is steep.
I will definitely be using Pixel Pipe now..thanks for the recommendation. Cheers. Tracy

  • Susanna Fera says:

    Hey Rachel,

Glad to hear you’ve had great success with Pixel Pipe and have put your stamp on it. TG is a bit costly, so having an alternative rocks!
I’ve wanted to try TubeBlasterPro. Can using something automated for comments and friends put one’s account in jeopardy though? I’d love your thoughts on that:)

    Great stuff! Susanna

  • Holli says:

    Rache,
Thanks for this great post! As always – Right On!!!

  • Jill says:

    Hi Rachel

Would you consider making a video walking us through one service on Pixelpipe? I’m new and there doesn’t seem to be any instructions to follow.

    Thanks
    Jill

  • Loren says:

Hi Rachel – Thanks for always so generously sharing what you’ve learned with us! You absolutely rock!

  • OMG Rachel how in the world did you rank these keywords in Google in 24 hours when you had over 80 million other competitors? That is the secret I want! :)

  • Hey Rachel… thanks for the insight on the best video marketing sites. I am excited about giving Pixel Pipe a try.

  • Ryan Yokome says:

    Hey Rach!

Great stuff and I like the personal spin. :) I’ve tried a few of these services, and they are great. I personally go with SEnuke because I like the SEO factor combined with the video.

BTW, I love your layout, really clean post!

  • Deanna says:

    Hi Rachel,

What a girl!! You always have such great tips up your sleeve. I’ve known about Animoto for almost a year and made a couple of videos. My latest is to go on a splash page – here it is: http://animoto.com/play/oDwiLn6QLQAt28ZEzY8fsQ# I’d love to get comments from anyone on this blog, just from the standpoint of how the message comes across (or not) and music.

  • Roz Pearcy says:

Awesome stuff here RJ…I had found Tube Tool Box before and the only difference I could see between it and Tube Blaster Pro was the cost difference. I didn’t fully understand the differences until I read your post. Awesome!

  • Robert says:

    Thanks for the info, Rachel!
Nice to hear an opinion form an experienced user like you.
Also, thanks for the tip on Pixel Pipe – I must check it out!

  • Hans Schoff says:

“…I’ll host and spin my videos to all the video sharing sites…”

Hey Rachel, another quick question for you: when you spin your videos are you simply creating multiple versions of the same video and sending them to the same sites? (shorter/longer/etc?) How many spun versions do you do per video and how to do you get around the limits placed on the sites pixelpipe sends out to? (I’d imagine you could only put up a handful of videos before you exceeded your limit at most of the sites and you create lots of videos!) Or has that not been an issue for you? Thanks Rachel, again love your site and content!

  • Jarrod says:

Thank you for the tips, i was thinking of going with traffic geyser but now you have pointed out the virtues of pixelpipe I’m in. Rachel do you have any suggestions on the amount of video sites to post to? After a bit of research I have found 28 on pixel do you recommend signing up to all of them?

  • Bonnie says:

How do you use PixelPipe – is there a tutorial somewhere?
