The Synapse: Learning Something New & Taking Action

In talking with hundreds of entrepreneurs looking to create success online, I’ve noticed a large debilitating trend that occurs during the educational process. When somebody is learning a new skill, talent, or trade… there is always a synapses or leap between “figuring it out” and “taking action.” So how can we drastically reduce the amount of time between this synapse so we can be successful? Watch the video below…

Personal and skill development is crucial for your success in business. If you’re an internet marketer you probably are spending time watching webinars on traffic generation, marketing tactics, and analytics. If you’re in network marketing …maybe your time being spent on prospecting, rapport building, and product demo’s is the best thing for you.

So you’re learning all of these new things but just KNOWING them isn’t going to make you successful. And the longer you wait before putting your new knowledge into place – you’re increasing your chance of failure. Every second and every minute that goes by, the opportunity for excuses, procrastination and self-sabatoge sets in.

I share the story a lot from the moment I came online, I was told by my mentor to make 2 videos in 24 hours. I did it, follow direction, was teachable and coachable. And guess what? They were AWFUL. But I broke through my fears, my shyness (yes, me shy) and my inexperience and got in front of the camera. Soon I was popping out (slightly better) videos every single day. I generated 8 leads that first week and 4 new business partners in less than 30 days.

To Your Success,

RJ

    Rachel,

This is great information you are sharing here. I feel into the learning mode for quite a while and now I know that taking action, even if it’s not perfect is what leads eventually to mastery.

    Thanks for the reminder,

    Karen

  • Awesome video RJ. Love what you’re saying about taking action. It doesn’t really shock me that most people don’t. That the conditioning on of most people. :)

You’ve got a solid way of delivering your message. Awesome video!

This is fabulous and very encouraging.

  • Wow Rachel, this was a seriously killer post. You hit the nail on the head with a blind fold. This is something I can seriously relate to because I expereinced this in my own life. Always feeling like their was a peice of the information that was missing. I would go to seminar after seminar feeling great and motivated while there but I would go home and never quite feel like I had enough of the formula to apply to my own life…

So what your talking about here is a real situation, that warrants some real solutions and here you have one. It’s amazing when you FINALLY figure out that you have everything you need right inside of you. Just get in to action and the answer will come. Oh and great 1 on 1 coaching would definitely turn your life around in a hurry if I had to add anything to this message it would be that. It would be to invest in some one on one coaching with you. So there will absolutely be no excuses to not having enough information to move forward and take action…NOW!

Infact Im waiting to coach with you. You gave me some stellar advice over the phone and I got diretly in to action. My youtube viewers have gone up in the last 2 weeks. I’m getting more views to my blog. So I can just imagine what 1 on 1 coaching would do incombination with taking action TODAY…

Thank R Jackson. You rock !
